Rain Project

Welcome to this extraordinary project.
We have a technology breakthrough which has been able to deliver rain.

The Global Rain Project is an aquiess initiative, supported by clients and sponsors, which reaches remote geographic targets with rainfall drawn from oceanic sources.

The project began in Australia during 2005 when drought gripped the south eastern states. aquiess deployed services commencing May 23, 2005. Significant rains resulted across the vast south eastern target. NOAA, the US meteorological authority, when reporting on the Australian events, described it as a "remarkable turnaround."

Successful outcomes since 2000 and especially during 2005, 2006 and 2007, have attracted interest from a growing international audience.

This project has been supported by growers directly as well as representatives from both government and corporate worlds.

Global Rain Project aims to deliver gentle soaking rainfall into local and international geographic targets for a vast community of observers and participants.
As well as new international targets set during 2008, it is anticipated that several more Australian 'Primary Targets' will also be chosen.
