11 Use of Bureau Of Meteorology and other 3rd party Charts

aquiess utilizes data including graphs and charts from 3rd party defense and meteorological agencies. aquiess targets and other information is overlaid on original, independently supplied data.

Australian rainfall summary charts are compiled and published by the Bureau Of Meteorology in Australia. Regarding the Victorian results: Victorian rainfall Project's primary and secondary targets have been overlayed onto BOM originals, and represented in aquiess documentation, for the purpose of reviewing outcomes.

Disclaimer
No relationship between the Bureau Of Meteorology or any other supplier, and aquiess exists or is implied as existing, by the use of the Bureau's (or any other organization's,) charts. In many cases the data represented is freely available to the general public via the internet. Original BOM charts may be viewed at URL:
http://www.bom.gov.au/cgi-bin/silo/rain_maps.cgi

The Bureau operates and publishes under mandate from the Australian government to provide meteorological warnings, forecasts, observations, information and advice. aquiess simply uses the BOM charts as the best available, independent rainfall data and analysis, in Australia.
For a complete statement of the Australian Government's, Meteorology Act 1955, please visit URL: http://www.bom.gov.au/inside/eiab/MetAct1955.shtml

However regarding specific aquiess project outcomes and relevant unique data sets represented on this site, aquiess may have purchased data from third party sources, to maintain the strength of independently verifiable results. In all cases, aquiess does not attempt to represent its own data without sound, independently verifiable, government endorsed data sources, which confirm the veracity of outcomes presented.

13 Sovereign Territory Legal Framework

The United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) establishes a comprehensive framework for the determination of the territorial sea baseline and the various maritime zone boundaries. The Convention entered into force on 16 November 1994, and embodies the notion that all problems of ocean space are closely interrelated and need to be addressed as a whole. Today, it is the globally recognised regime dealing with all matters relating to the law of the sea. aquiess respects legal international boundaries and endeavours to avoid drawing rain from sources within sovereign territories or countries. In the case of a requirement to do so, legal authorisation is sought from the sovereign government, kindom, reigime or private corporation.
